A Property That Changes With the Season

JULY Resort does not run one fixed itinerary. What the property offers shifts through the year, from dawn paddles on the lake to a cedar sauna deck built for the cold months.

Through the Year

Four seasons, one forested property.

Spring: Dawn on the Water

As the property wakes with the season, mornings begin on the lake before the mist has lifted. Kayaks are set out at first light for guests who want to start the day on still water rather than a schedule.

Summer: Long Evenings Outside

The longest days on the property stretch evenings around the fire pit and the glamping field, with dinner service moved outdoors whenever the weather allows it.

Autumn: The Sauna Deck Opens

As the air turns, the cedar sauna deck becomes the heart of the property again: heat inside, forest all around, and a plunge in the cool air waiting on the walk back to the cabin.

Winter: The Fire Pits Stay Lit

Cold does not close the property, it changes it. Fire pits stay lit later, the dining hall runs warmer menus, and the forest goes quiet in a way that suits a slower kind of stay.

Dawn Kayaking

The lake sits still enough at first light that a paddle out and back barely disturbs the surface. Kayaks are available for guests who want the property from the water rather than the shore, a quiet start before the rest of the day begins.

No experience is required, and no one is rushed back to shore. The lake is there for as long as the morning holds.

The Cedar Sauna

Heat inside, forest all around.

The sauna deck sits back among the trees, cedar-panelled and open on one side to the forest beyond it. It is built for the cooler months, when a slow heat and a clear view of the woods do more for a stay than any itinerary could.

Guests are welcome to linger as long as they like, robes provided, with nowhere else on the property they need to be.
